Kristin A. Boehm, M.D., FACS, is a plastic surgeon in Atlanta certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons. She is a member of the Emerging Trends Committee with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which looks into new and innovative technologies. She has served as a key opinion leader on facial injectables and tissue adhesives and has been an advisory board member for a dermal filler company. She has particular expertise in non-invasive techniques for anti-aging and is skilled in the art of injectables, including neurotoxins and dermal fillers.

Teaching, Research and Publications
Dr. Boehm taught reconstructive and cosmetic surgery to the residents at Atlanta’s Emory University School of Medicine, lecturing at grand rounds, sharing techniques in the operating room, and demonstrating facial injectables. She has given local seminars on plastic surgery and presented at the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery annual meeting. She has authored numerous articles and book chapters, including international texts published out of Korea and Italy. She served as the video editor for the 2009 Techniques in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery series and was section editor for the volume on mid-face surgery. She has served as a physician evaluator for clinical studies devoted to innovations in periocular surgery.
