Matrix CO2 Laser System – Fractional Technology That Makes A True Difference and Greatly Reduces Downtime as Compared to Past CO2 lasers!
How the system works:
The Matrix Fractional CO² laser optimizes traditional CO² treatments by introducing a grid pattern of tiny pulses of light at the skin. Each pulse delivers a column of energy that can reach the skin’s dermal layer. This stimulates a natural renewal process of the body’s own collagen. Also, because the laser beam has been fractionized, small areas of untreated skin will be left between the treated spots. By strategically performing the procedure in this way, the healing process is accelerated.
A safe, long lasting & effective treatment for:
- Wrinkles
- Verticl Lip Lines
- Skin Texture Irregularities
- Pigmented Lesions
- Fine Lines
- Acne Scars
- Sun Damage
Is fractional resurfacing right for you?
Fractional skin resurfacing is a safe and effective procedure for almost any skin type. Fractional resurfacing can be applied to most areas of the body.
- Treatment usually takes less than 30 minutes
- Treatment sensations vary from person to person with most experiencing a warm sharp feeling and an immediate tightening of the skin.
- Most patients feel as if they have a mild sunburn for a few days after treatment
- After having a full facial skin rejuvenation treatment one will need to stay indoors for a few days.

ArcticPeel™
A Premier image exclusive in Atlanta. Have the kind of smooth, tight skin that only laser can give you but without the hassle factor. This lunchtime laser peel uses nothing more than blown chilled air to cool the skin. Best done in a series of five treatments, the ArcticPeel™ is by far our most popular laser procedure. No anesthetic is required. Mild redness is expected afterward, and patients typically return to work the following day. Best for those people who are beginning to see the results of sun damage and aging on their face but really don't require an aggressive laser resurfacing procedure (or don't have the time for one). Specific benefits for aged and photo-damaged skin include improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, reduction of brown spots and scars, and an overall tightening of the skin. Makeup will go on smoother and you will feel and look younger. Dr DeJoseph utilizes the Sciton erbium laser for the ArcticPeel™, arguably the finest laser in the industry!

Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing, also known as laser peel, can renew skin that has been damaged by chronic sun exposure, and can dramatically reduce skin wrinkling or facial scars and improve skin texture. We use an advanced dual pulsed-Erbium laser and CO-2 laser, which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin at precisely controlled levels of penetration. It is the most precise equipment available to resurface the skin.

Laser Hair Removal
Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, the patient who is tired of temporary, often painful methods of removing unwanted hair may welcome laser and intense pulsed light hair removal with relief.
Lasers produce highly focused, intense beams of light that are absorbed by dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin's surface and converted to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth for up to two years. Multiple treatments are required for complete hair removal -- the follicle must be active at the time of treatment, and not all follicles are active at the same time. Treatments are needle-free and do not require anesthesia. Most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting like the snap of a rubber band.

Laser Removal of Spider Veins, Scars and Stretch Marks
New technology allows us to treat spider veins, scars and stretch marks without surgery or other painful procedures that require an extended hospital stay and long recovery. Laser treatment is painless and does not require anesthesia.
For spider vein treatment, the laser aims carefully controlled pulses of narrow-wavelength light at the damaged veins. The veins absorb the light and heat up, then collapse and close. These techniques also treat a wide variety of scars and stretch marks. The laser's energy stimulates the skin under the scar and causes the fibroblasts in the skin to begin to divide again. It also stimulates the production of collagen. This thickens the skin under the scar until it closely resembles the surrounding normal skin.

Laser Tattoo Removal
Tattoos have been around for at least 5,000 years.
The interest in removing them is just about as old. Many of the techniques to remove the tattoos in the past have produced less than desirable results.
Dermabrasion, or sanding of the tattoo, chemicals, or even the older CO2 or Argon lasers removed tattoos but left undesirable scars.
