Arm Lift |
For slim, supple arms, an arm lift, also known as brachioplasty or an upper arm lift, may be right for you. This surgical procedure removes loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arm, reducing its circumference. Loose, flabby upper arm skin results from a stretching of the anchoring system of the arm and loss of supporting fat that occurs with age. This results in an undesirable "loose hammock" appearance to the upper arms.
The amount of extra skin and degree of looseness in the supporting tissue will determine the amount of surgical correction necessary. Incisions are located along the inner arm and are hidden as best as possible while still allowing for the best tightening of the tissue.
